Very cool. I'm impressed and jealous. Things like this are my next step. I want to start acquiring the proper tools to do things like this, as well as frame straightening, and bottom bracket work, etc... I hope to build my own bike from scratch one day too. There is a great place near me here in Birdsboro, Pa called Cedarboro Bikes. This guy has built his own frame building tools even. I don't know if I'll ever get to to learn from him, but I hope so.
ReplyDeleteThanks Matteo. This is definitely advanced mechanics in my book. I'm pretty stoked it went so well. I might be aligning my rear dropouts on the ROckfish sometime soon - I could either take it into work and use the "proper" tool or devise a simple tool to do it myself... I think I need to keep up the DIY spirit.
ReplyDeleteLookin' sexy there, Tommy!

Thanks Brady. My new lingerie does wonders.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive stuff. The picture titled - 1" steerer x 24tpi could hang in an art gallery. -Will
